The trek offers stunning views and a range of trekking options with several base camps to explore. Here’s a comprehensive guide to the trekking itineraries and packages for the Saipal region:

Saipal East Base Camp Overview

Post-COVID-19, we’re excited to introduce the Saipal East Base Camp Trek, offering a unique adventure into the stunning landscapes of the Far Western Himalayas. Towering at 7,031 meters, Mount Saipal is the second-highest peak in the region, and the East Base Camp provides breathtaking views, particularly from the eastern and northern perspectives.

This trek begins in Simikot and takes you on a scenic route that detours through lush, steep-sided forests. The area is characterized by ancient blue pines, spruces, and towering cedars, making it a feast for the senses. The diverse communities here—Chhetris, Brahmins, Thakuris, and Bhotias—live in cultural harmony, reflecting a unique blend of Hindu and Buddhist traditions. This trek not only showcases stunning natural beauty but also offers insight into the rich cultural tapestry of the region.
